The 2025 Patriot League men's basketball tournament will host No. 10 Holy Cross at 7pm on Tuesday night ET. The bottom four seeds will be squared in the first round, with the winner joining the remaining six teams in the quarterfinals.
Bucknell Bison will be taking part in the tournament as the number one seed after winning the conference title tiebreaker with the American University Eagles. The two teams are tied up on the Patriot League, each holding a 13-5 meeting record. They split the season series, which moved the tiebreaker to the record. The meeting included a 4-way tie, third in the Army, Colgate, Boston University and the Navy. Bucknell insisted on the tiebreaker by having a better overall record against these four teams.
This is all important as the Patriot League doesn't play tournaments on neutral courts. Instead, the higher seeds host each game. Bucknell hosts all the games you play through tournament championship games.
The defending champions are the Colgate Raiders, who have claimed their final four NCAA Tournament Bertins and five of the past six. This year, Colgate will be taking part in the tournament as the third seed.
