More than a year after a 21-year-old University of Georgia student was killed at work, two men were charged with the murder of Brianna Long.
She was a student at a pier bar near Valdosta State University (VSU), where she was a student, and was attacked by a lost bullet. Barr's colleague was also hit by a bullet and later recovered from his injuries.
On Tuesday, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) was charged with one count of malicious murder in connection with Long's death, 23-year-old Tsion Clayton and 21-year-old Kimone Green.
Both men are currently in custody in separate, unrelated cases, GBI said in the release. One is currently in custody in Georgia, and the other is in custody in Florida. Additional details were not available immediately.
