Insider Trading? Whale Bets Big on BTC And ETH Before Trump’s Crypto Post, Nets $6.8M – Times Now

A high-stakes cryptocurrency trader, commonly known as “whales,” earned an astounding $6.8 million in one day after placing highly leveraged bets on Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH). The timing of the trade sparked speculation that it could be an insider trading case in line with Trump's announcement, and raised speculation on Sunday as former President Donald Trump matched exactly with the announcement of the US crypto sanctuary.

Traders used $4 million to open a leveraged position of $200 million, greatly amplifying both potential profits and risk. BET suffered an exposure of extreme flaws. Because even small price drops can trigger liquidation and completely wipe out the position.

However, Trump's post has driven a rapid surge in BTC and ETH prices, allowing whales to cash out before the market pullback. Reports say traders will lengthen ETH at $2,197 and BTC at $85,908, with liquidation levels at $2,149.4 and $84,752 respectively.

Trump announces strategic crypto sanctuary

President Donald Trump announced on Sunday that he will form a US strategic cryptocurrency that includes major cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), XRP, Solana (SOL) and Cardano (ADA). The president's announcement on true social Sunday afternoon has caused a massive surge in Bitcoin prices, with all major currencies seeing the bounce back.

“US cryptocurrency reserves will raise this important industry after years of corruption attacks by the Biden administration. As such, my executive order on digital assets has directed the presidential working group to advance cryptocurrency strategic reserves, including XRP, SOL and ADA,” he writes. Later in a later post, he said BTC and ETH were also included in the reserve.

Following Trump's announcement, Bitcoin surged by more than 10% to $92,800, while Ethereum rose 13% to $2,475. Cardano has surged 50%, XRP has risen 31%, and Solana has earned 19%, reflecting strong market response.
