From awakened ideology to the digital collapse, Western civilization is falling into complete chaos as its purpose, tradition and identity melts.
Jonathan Pageau, founder of Symbolic World Press and Master Icon Carver, and James Polos “Zero Hour” is well known – and they understand that the loss of traditional values is directly linked to why Americans are facing such identity crisis.
“Some of the issues of our identity that everyone seems to suffer have to do with it, have to do with the fact that we can't understand who we are in a world filled with words all the time,” Poulos theorizes.
“I agree,” replies Pago. “We tend to forget that identity is participation. It's not who you actually think you are, what you think of yourself, where you are, and how you participate in that world.”

“So, identity is what you engage in,” continues Pago. “Participating in the world you are in, being a father, husband, and part of your community. Doing that actually eliminates a lot of identity issues.”
On a macro level, things like the national anthem are great examples of where identity is formed and where it is broken.
“The attacks on the national anthem that took place at all these sporting events a few years ago are signs of fragmentation of identity, because participating in identity and something and participating in something doesn't mean agreeing with everything that has happened in the history of your being,” explains Pago.
“I'm Pago and I'm from the people and family line. I'm happy with it, but that doesn't mean that everything I've done so far in my family line is worthy of praise,” he continues.
However, this fragmentation of identity is becoming more difficult to avoid, as we have driven everyone into the social media spotlight under the sun.
“You create the internet and say, 'This is amazing and it's going to be like the ultimate library.' And over time, it appears that the number of books in that library will begin to shrink.
“And we look at the standards of beauty on Instagram and Instagram. We try our best to say, “No, you can be the size of a mutant. You can hurt yourself as much as possible, and that's beautiful too,” but what's really happening in the majority is summing up around this kind of alien-esque Kardashian style,” he continues.
“When they do those composites, it's like knowing, 'We took all the laces in the world and turned them into one face', and it's becoming a kind of face. Incredible uniformity,” he adds.
