Columbia University officials were finally disciplinary against an anti-Israel agitator who broke into Hamilton Hall on the school's New York City campus in April 2024.

Columbia University's apartheid Divest Group said in a press release Monday that Barnard College, part of Columbia University, has banished three students.

One student was expelled after participating in the occupation in April last year, but another was suspended due to involvement.

Bernard also expelled two students for confusing a class called “The History of Modern Israel.” The duo allegedly wore scarves to hide their faces when they ran to classrooms and to hide their faces when they threw anti-Semitic pamphlets around the room.

Fox News contacted the university and said authorities could not comment on the disciplinary action. Instead, they said that it wasn't always easy, they would always do the right thing.

“Under federal law, we cannot comment on students' academic and disciplinary records. That is, as a matter of principle and policy, Bernard said that he will always take decisive action to protect his community as a place where learning can flourish. “This means maintaining the highest standards and acting when those standards are threatened.

“When rules are broken, when there is no regret, no regret, no remorse, no desire to change, we must act. Expulsion is always an extraordinary measure, but so is our commitment to respect, inclusion, and the integrity of academic experience,” she added. “At Bernard, we always advocate for our values vigorously. At Bernard, we always refuse harassment and discrimination in all forms. And at Bernard, we always do the right thing.

Last spring, police arrested dozens of people in the Hamilton Hall building at Columbia University and were arrested at another demonstration at New York City College. Almost half of the suspects were non-students, authorities said at the time.
