The failed Democratic vice presidential candidate in 2024 and current Minnesota Governor Tim Waltz recently rose to a potential 2028 presidential run, earning an ock laugh online as critics sarcastically begged him to throw his hat into the ring.
With a laugh, comments such as “I need a morning shackle” and “Yes please” were splattered across conservative social media accounts after Waltz's recent conversation with New Yorkers came to light on the potential president of 2028.
Waltz ran alongside former Vice President Kamala Harris on Democrats' 2024 tickets in the waning months of the election cycle after former President Joe Biden dropped out of the race amid concerns about his mental vision and age.
Waltz initially got in the way when he was asked if he would run for president in an interview with The New Yorker released Sunday.

“Well, I had my friend tell me, 'Never turn down a job you're not offering,” Waltz said when asked if he was running for president.
“If I think I can offer something… I'd certainly think about it,” he said. “But I'm not so rog-worthy to believe there are many people who can do this.”
He said, “I'll do it” if he has the “skill set” that is appropriate for the 2028 race under the right circumstances.
“Maybe you do that?” asked the New Yorker.
“I'll do whatever it takes,” Waltz said. “I certainly wouldn't be rog-harmed enough to think it needs to be me.”

Tim Walz admits he was surprised by the election defeat: “The country thought it was ready.”
“I've always said this. I didn't prepare my own life to get into these jobs, but my life prepared me well,” he said. “And if the experiences I have gone through and what we are experiencing now prepare me for that, I will. But I am concerned about people who have ambitions for elected positions. I don't think you should have ambitions.
Social media critics revived the “Tampon Tim” moniker and chuckle the prospects of President Waltz, recommending him encourage running, and introduced Field Day on X.
“Tampon Tim” laughed at the “Minnesota policy” that provides “menstrual products” to “menstrual products,” as opposed to the nickname used by conservatives during the election cycle, stating “to all menstrual students in the toilets that students use regularly.”
Tim Waltz thought his lack of wealth was a “real flexion” against Trump: “Why… have we lost to a billionaire?”
“Doomed”: Experts say this important campaign decision led to a “disastrous” defeat
After Biden's departure from the 2024 race in July, Harris simultaneously began searching for her campaign and running mates, looking through a list of famous Democrats and lesser-known allies before choosing a waltz.
Following the loss of Democrat tickets, political strategists and insiders launched their posthumous campaigns, including Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro, who was selected as running mates in contrast to other candidates such as Harris's other candidates, including Josh Shapiro, a major battlefield popular who ultimately voted for President Donald Trump.

In a conversation with the New Yorker, Waltz added that he and Harris have ended the campaign cycle on good terms, but have only spoken with the former vice president a few times since November 2024.
“I'm working, she's working. She's out to California. I believe. I'm here in beautiful Minnesota.

“Well, maybe she doesn't want to tell me after we've accomplished this,” Waltz said with a laugh when asked why they don't talk more often. “No, I think there's just a time and a place. But we've left Good and my family will miss her, especially my daughter.”
