UK Spy Agency Cuts Ties with LGBT Charity Stonewall After Trump Cuts

One of the UK's top spying agencies reportedly cut ties with Stonewall LGBTQ+ charity after the Donald Trump administration cut funding to far left organizations.

The second President Trump is not only dismantling racist diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) policies within the United States, but also dismantling impact operations overseas.

According to Report London's Daily telegraphthe UK Government Communications Headquarters (GCHQ) has withdrawn from the radical LGBTQ+ charity Stonewall corporate diversity scheme.

GCHQ, responsible for signal intelligence for the UK government and one of the key nodes in the intelligence collection of the “Five Eyes” alliance, including the US, has removed its status as “Stonewall Diversity Champion” from its website.

The move even spoke at the 2016 Stonewall annual conference that former GCHQ chief Robert Hannigan even apologised for past discrimination from government agencies despite the British spy agency's previous proposals for a group of activists on the far left.

However, Stonewall has steadily lost influence within the UK government in recent years about transgenderism and politically correct gender language, such as teaching schools to stop using the word “boys and girls” in favor of neutral phrases like “learning.”

The backlash against transgenderism has resulted in most UK government departments cutting ties with major British institutions such as Stonewall, the BBC, Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC), broadcast regulators and Royal Psychiatrists.

It was reported last month that Stonewall must fire at least half of its staff members due to the US Trump administration's decision to suspend foreign aid.

According to The Times of London, the LGBTQ+ charity had received more than £500,000 sterling from the US government.

Before the cuts inspired by the Trump administration's drudgery of foreign aid, UK charities were funded through the Global Equality Fund, a US Department of State scheme that promotes “LGBTI rights around the world.” Stonewall argues that the cuts from Washington represent “an agenda that spreads hatred and fear.”

However, while the left-wing charity still has several patronages in the UK government, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has admitted that it committed £650,000 to Stonewall between 2024 and 2025 for international Pro-LGBTQ+ projects in Africa, the Caribbean and Eastern Europe.
