Trump announces DJ Daniel will be honorary Secret Service agent

President Trump announced that he will become an honorary member of the Secret Service the moment he moved 13-year-old cancer survivor Devarjaye “DJ” Daniel during his speech to a joint session of Congress on Tuesday.

Daniel, dressed in a police uniform while sitting in the house gallery, glowed as his father shook him up while his father recognized his fight to overcome cancer.

“He always dreamed of becoming a police officer,” the commander explained in his speech. “But in 2018, the DJ was diagnosed with a brain tumor.”

“The doctors gave him at most five months,” Trump added. “It was over six years ago. Since then, the DJ and his father have been exploring his dreams to make them come true.”

In his speech, Trump praised law enforcement, claiming he once again regained his call to “impose a forced death penalty on anyone who kills police officers” and wanted officers to “work without fear of life being completely destroyed.”

At another point in Trump's broad speech, Trump announced that high school senior Jason Hartley has been hospitalized at the US military academy in West Point.

Trump said Hartley, the son of the late Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputy, had dreams of entering the prestigious military academy.

“That's difficult to get in,” Trump meditated. “We are pleased to let you know that your application has been accepted.”

Harley was seen accepting his mother and giving a thumbs up, apparently caught off guard by the announcement.
