Trump reveals executive order signed in honor of Jocelyn Nungaray, 12-year-old killed by illegal migrants

President Trump announced Tuesday that he had nominated the National Wildlife Reserve in honor of Jocelyn Nungarei.

Trump revealed his sincere tribute as he introduced one of the guests who invited Jocelyn's mother, Alexis Nungarei, as one of the guests who invited him to the council's session.

“Alexis, I have promised that I will always remember your daughter, your grand daughter, and tonight I have signed an order to keep my words,” the president said. “One of the things I learned about Jocelyn was that she loved animals so much. She loved nature.”

“Across the Galveston Bay, where Jocelyn lived in Houston, is a 34,000-acre sanctuary, untouched and peaceful, for all the creatures of God, on the edge of the Gulf of America.

“Alexis, some time ago, I officially renamed the shelter to the loving memory of your beautiful daughter, Jocelyn,” Trump revealed.

The executive order signed by Trump comes eight months after Nungarei was murdered, leading to the arrest of two illegal immigrants.

Franklin Jose Pena Ramos, 26, and Johann Jose Langel Martinez, 22, were charged with her unpleasant murder in June.

The man reportedly invited her under the bridge and ties her under her bridge and attacked her for two hours, police said.

The pair illegally entered the United States at separate times last year and were captured by the US border patrol, but both were released and given notice to appear in court at a later date.

The heartbreaking Nungarei incident attracted the public's attention as the debate on immigration heated up in the presidential election several months later.

Texas prosecutors said they would seek the death penalty against two Venezuelans in December.
