Bodybuilder Jodi Vance was ‘throwing up’ before death: 911 call

Jody Vance vomited last week on the morning of her tragic death in Columbus, Ohio, with 911 tapes revealed.

TMZ has released it A call from Vance's wife made to emergency services on February 27th after the bodybuilder woke up and failed to respond in the bodybuilder's room at the downtown hotel in Sonesta Columbus.

“My wife passed away in bed. The caller told the 911 operator. “She's moaning. She's throwing it all morning, but now she's not awake or reacting to us.”

Vance, 20, was declared dead at 12:51pm on Thursday after being taken to Grant Medical Center.

The Franklin County Corner office has not announced the official cause of death, According to Columbus dispatch.

Vance's family said in a statement that “her heart has stopped due to complications of severe dehydration.”

“She is a beautiful person both inside and outside and will be overlooked every day,” read some of the family's statements. “This was sudden and unexpected. Give her family time to handle this loss peacefully.

“If someone receives anything from now on, put your health first.”

Vance, of Amarillo, Texas, was said to have been in Columbus for the Arnold Sports Festival, but an event spokesman sent her saying she wasn't competing in the vendor or the event.

TMZ reported that she was there to help a student coach.

After her death, her coach, Justin Miharry, claimed that he or her family had taken potentially harmful supplements without realizing it.

“Her health has been so concerned recently that now we know why there is an answer,” Miharry said in a video he posted to Instagram. “Many people who loved Jody, including myself, tried to shed her gas pedal a bit. Anyone who knows Jody knows how challenging it is.”
