Shirtless Michael Irvin goes viral during crazy 59th birthday celebration

NFL Hall of Fame Michael Irvin went out for his birthday in Brazil.

The three-time Super Bowl champion, who turned 59 on Wednesday, squealed on his birthday, shirtless and glittered at the Rio de Janeiro carnival.

Considered Brazil's most popular holiday, the Carnival is a weekly festival that will be held from February 28th to March 8th this year. This includes colorful costumes, music, dance and parades throughout the city.

Irvin was shining silver lined shorts and glitter on his chest as he celebrated in front of a spine sign, as seen in a video posted on his social media account.

“You may be wondering why I dressed that way, but I'm in Rio for the carnival,” Irvin said. “It was on my bucket list. I experienced the carnival before I turned 60. So I'm here, when I turned 59.”

“But let me say this. The thousands of people who texted me and reached out to social media, all my fans, all my friends say, 'Happy Birthday'. Thank you very much. You can't beat everyone, but I want you to know that you are really important. ”

Irvin said he learned that his friend was throwing a surprise birthday party on Friday at Playmaker 88 in his restaurant, North Texas.

In another video, Irvin cited Vin Diesel's line in the “Fast & Furious” movie franchise.

“As Vin Diesel said, 'I know I've come a long way from home, but this is Brazil!” he added.

Irvin spent 12 seasons with the Cowboys, having been a three-time All-Pro nod and five-time Pro Bowler.
