The House on Thursday voted for Rep. Al Green (D-TX) to protest during President Donald Trump's speech to Congress.
Chamber vote 224-198-2 passed primarily the party's boundaries, with 10 Democrats voting for Republicans in favor of the condemnation.
During Trump's speech to Congress on Tuesday, Greene stood up, waving his wand and cried out to the 47th President. Greene tried to counter Trump's claim that he had “orders” from the American people.

Despite speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) urging Texas Democrats to “get in your seat,” Greene continues to violate her politeness, and the chairman urged the sergeant to remove the green from the breeding room.
Republican, “Hey, hey, goodbye,” as the sergeant escorted him from the floor of the house.
“We don't enjoy this,” Johnson said before the denunciation vote.
“I repeatedly issued warnings to Representative Green to stop and sit, and he refused to do so. He deliberately chose to violate the House Rules in a way that is likely historically unprecedented, and suspended the message of his honorable guest, the President of the United States,” he continued.

“I think I was wrong,” Szzi said Wednesday night. “I'm the old-fashioned, traditional type of person. When Republicans suspend a Democratic president, I don't like it. When Democrats suspend a Republican president, I don't like it. So I think it was a bone-headed move.”

Rep. Ryan Mackenzie (R-PA) repeatedly said Democrats were “embarrassing,” saying Joyce Beatty (D-OH) and Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) were the most vocal Democrats in verbal altercations.
Presley then told Rep. Dan Maser (R-PA) that “Your members are doing the same thing.”
