I missed my speech because I found some kind of flu bug on the weekend I was still kicking my ass. I went through it and slept. My wife saw it, I'm thinking on YouTube. Did Nielsen measure it? Does Nielsen measure Roku's Fox News app?

I'm now watching TV in 100 different ways, including the next day's website and social media. How do you measure that?

I'm not trying to make excuses for failing to attract as many viewers as Trump did during his first term. That's not my point. However, I think our viewing habits have changed quite dramatically over the past eight years. In the past, I was just as sick as I did, so I would have recorded Trump's speech to make sure I didn't miss it. I don't even own a recorder these days. That's not even a concern. So, despite knowing I would sleep through it, I also knew I could see it the next day… somewhere. The next day I saw it.

It's a whole new world.
