America's 250th: President Trump Offers a Preview of 'A Rally to America' on the National Mall Before the Great American State Fair

Trump to Host “Rally for America” on National Mall

President Donald Trump has announced a significant event titled “Rally for America,” set for Wednesday, June 24, at the National Mall. This rally will kick off the Great American State Fair, marking the lead-up to America’s 250th anniversary celebrations.

In a video message, Trump encouraged people to prepare for what he claims will be the largest rally yet. “It’s going to be on the National Mall. This is our music, this is our playlist. Not many people are going to bore you with songs they don’t want to hear. We have the hottest people, we have the hottest everything. This is going to be one of the best rallies we’ve ever had,” he said.

The rally will commence at 7 PM ET, according to Trump, who described it as essentially a celebration event. “We’re celebrating our 250th and it’s going to be very, very special. You’re going to love it. We’re all going to have a really fun time together,” he shared.

The Great American State Fair, described as a “modern-day World’s Fair,” aims to celebrate the essence of America. It will feature 150 exhibits representing “all 56 states and territories,” along with businesses, innovators, and civic organizations. Visitors can look forward to displays from state pavilions, industry exhibits, family attractions, film screenings, musical performances, military ensembles, eye-catching structures, and the National Mall’s iconic Ferris wheel.

A daily theme has been established for the fair, starting with “American Canon: Opening Day” on Thursday. Friday’s theme will focus on “Land and Prosperity,” while Saturday celebrates “The American Canvas.” Sunday is designated for “Military and Veterans Appreciation Day,” and Monday will center around “Everyday Health and Wellbeing,” known as MAHA Monday. The themes for Tuesday and Wednesday will highlight “America’s Future” and “Faith, Values, and Inspiration,” respectively. The fair runs through Friday, July 10, and other themes include “American Horsepower,” “Heritage and Legacy,” and “Next 250.”

This week, preparations included the construction of a large Ferris wheel on the National Mall, adding to the excitement surrounding the event.

“For 16 days, you can take in the views from the top, wander through the state pavilions, and experience the best of America at the Great American State Fair,” Freedom 250 noted, sharing images of this impressive structure in the lead-up to the fair.
