Senator John Fetterman, D-PA. – President Donald Trump's speech before a joint session in Congress led him to denounce his own party for “a sad massacre of self-ownedness and a no-hin petulance” – on Friday he again issued a tweet calling for Democrats.
“#theresistance,” he wrote, “snabbing a 13-year-old cancer survivor,” “protest paddle bonanza at a joint address,” “choose your fighter,” and “choose video.”
“Have our beer: Government shutdown!” he continued, warning, “Never, never, never vote for a shutdown.”

Fox News Digital contacted Fetterman's office and requested comment from lawmakers on Friday, but did not receive a response by the time of publication.
Trump praised 13-year-old DJ Daniel at his address this week, pointing out that Daniel, who wanted to become a police officer, was diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2018.
“We are asking our new Secret Service Director Sean Curran to represent the Secret Service in the US,” Trump told the young people.
This was a “momentary moment.” Fetterman told Fox News Digital's Nicholas Ballasy earlier this week.

During the president's speech, some lawmakers held up signs with messages such as “False,” “Save Medicaid,” “Protect Veterans,” and “Musk Steals.”
This week, a viral video posted this week by social media influencer Sulhee Jessica Woo features Woo posing in a combat stance like a video game character, and on-screen text “Chowe Your Fighter” at the beginning of the video.

A Fetterman post featured a screenshot of the Politico headline that read, “Senate Democrats' Immediate Choice: Closure or Suspension.”
President Donald Trump has argued that he would use ongoing resolutions to avoid approaching government shutdowns. “I will work with great House Republicans on an ongoing resolution to fund the government until September, giving them the time they need to tackle our agenda,” he said in the Truth Social Post.
Democratic support is required to get enough votes to move ongoing resolutions through the Senate.
“I'm never going to be part of the vote to shut down the government,” Fetterman said. “Everyone on our side, those Sabers, the fact that it's the Bulls, that's the Bulls,” he reportedly reportedly. “When you think of burning a village to burn, that's weird.”
