Two individuals accused of leaking details about the immigrant attack have been identified and will be referred to the Department of Justice for a “felony prosecution,” Homeland Security Department Christie Noem said Friday.
“We are talking to individuals about our business and have identified two leaked individuals at homeland security that are at risk for the lives of law enforcement,” Noem said in a video posted to X.
“We plan to indict these two individuals and hold them accountable for what they did,” she added. “And we will continue to do everything we can to keep America safe.”

Noem and Border Czar Tom Homan have been working since last month to find the source of leaks related to planned immigration and customs enforcement raids.
One leak reportedly included the dissemination of information that allowed the suspect Tren de Lagua, a Venezuelan prison gangster, to avoid capture by agents of the Aurora ice in Colora.
In another leaked incident, the Los Angeles Times published an article last month reporting that ICE was preparing for “large” immigration enforcement work in Southern California at the end of February.

Noem and Homan have previously suggested that the leaks come from within the FBI.
“Some of the information we receive tends to lead to the FBI,” Homan said. Sean Hannity, host of Fox News February.
“The FBI is very corrupt,” says Noem. Tweet last month. “We will work with all agencies to stop leaks and prosecute these bent, deep national agents to the fullest extent of the law.”
Immigrant raids have been swept across the country since President Trump took office to arrest and enforce illegal immigrants for criminal history and gang ties.
