Rep. Hank Johnson (D-GA) believes President Donald Trump and the Make America Great Again (Maga) movement hope to “pick cotton” in this week's virtual event.
“How they can kill public education, how they can refund it from the federal level, and how they allow state money and local money to flow into the setup of private, for-profit schools,” Johnson began.
“It's ongoing,” he continued, claiming it was a “recipe to prevent black people from accessing education.”
“And where does it leave us? It brings us back when America was great and we were picking up cotton and all of that – we're doing the productivity they put in – our Latino brothers and sisters who will move here because we're not intellectually suited to do it anymore,” he said.
“But they'll have us limited to doing such a job,” Johnson continued. “It'll stop Trump from moving towards the past we're doing.”
However, this kind of illicit rhetoric is not new to the left. In 2012, then-President Joe Biden issued a similar warning to Americans.
“We got a really clear picture of them all cherish,” Biden said. I said at that time. “All Republicans voted for it. Look at what they value, see their budget and what they propose.”
“In the first 100 days, Romney said he would once again write his own rules, “Unchain Wall Street,” for major banks. They'll bring y'all back into the chain,” he said.
Democrats are still unable to provide examples of losing the rights of minority voters in President Trump's first term or his second term. Furthermore, in his first term, President Trump has historically signed the law to increase federal funding for Black Universities (HBCU). Needless to say, Trump has also helped him vote among black Americans in his latest presidential election.
But that has nothing to do with Johnson. Johnson has no relation to the same lawmakers who said that Guam is infamous in the House Armed Services Committee that it can overthrow.

Advocating school choices for parents and children – There is no evidence that allowing children in failed schools to seek better education elsewhere will lead to slavery.
