Independent Veterans CEO Paul Rickhoff claimed on Friday in MSNBC's “11th hour” that Ukrainians are more “Americans” than Americans.
Rieckhoff said, “Donald Trump has completely betrayed Ukraine. He stabs them in the back, and every week he needs to twist it and drive it deeper with a new move that cuts out more legs from underneath.”
Host Stephanie Roule asked, “What do you say to someone who doesn't care about Ukraine and says he wants to stand up to Russia?”
Rieckhoff said, “Where did you grow up? Did you grow up in a place where you thought Russians were good? Where did you teach them that Russians were good and our allies were bad guys, what part of America did you grow up? That's a flip here. Russians are bad guys. They're raping women. They're killing children. They're bombing.”
He said, “The Ukrainians are noble good people. In some ways, they are more American than us. Over the past few years, we must stand with them the same way we have stood with our allies in World War II. And since the country was established. This is not just Ukraine. It is about the core and integrity of American values.”
