The NFL free agency negotiation window will begin on Monday at noon until the start of the new league year on Wednesday.
Famous quarterbacks Aaron Rodgers, Russell Wilson and Sam Darnold will become one of the biggest stories of free agency as all three test the open market for their next team. Justin Fields is another quarterback in this free agent class and will also encourage curiosity from the team to determine whether he will be a starter in 2025.
Outside of the quarterback, Star Edge Rush, Joey Bosa, Khalil Mac, Josh Sweatt, defensive tackle Milton Williams and wide receiver Josh Godwin will be the highly cobbled position players the team will bid this week.

For some teams, next week will be under rigorous scrutiny by the media and fans. The New York Giants, New England patriots, and Cincinnati Bengals are one of the most eye-opening teams as they try to navigate the resulting free agency.
The Giants are looking for a new quarterback after moving from Daniel Jones mid-season after finishing on the worst modern record. Despite holding the third overall pick in the upcoming draft, the Giants are linked to potential veterans like Rogers and Wilson. ESPN's Jordan Lanaan reports That is “probably” that the giant ends with Rogers. The Giants have only $47.6 million in cap space to cooperate with.
The Patriots could be the league's biggest spender this offseason, with the most pay cap space of all teams close to $130 million, and the Patriots hope to return to the playoffs for the first time since 2021, with the second time since Tom Brady's departure, aiming to place the work around second-year quarterback Drake May and new head coach Mike Vrabel.

The Bengals are aiming to bounce back from back-to-back seasons where they missed the playoffs in order to keep their offensive cores still around Joe Burrow. The team has placed the franchise tag on wide receiver Tee Higgins for the second year in a row as they are trying to lock off the offensive weapons of Higgins and Jammer Chase in long-term deals. Bengal has $62 million in cap space.
Meanwhile, the Minnesota Vikings have one of the biggest decisions in the league and are likely to influence the options and strategies of other teams. Although Darnold led Minnesota to the playoffs this past season, after playoff losses and loss of division title decisions played inadequately, the Vikings will have to decide whether to re-sign the veteran quarterback.

The Vikings drafted former Michigan national champion JJ McCarthy in last year's draft, with many assuming that McCarthy would become the team's future quarterback. But after an incredibly good season from Darnold, it may not be that simple, and if Minnesota brings back the veterans, it could mean that McCarthy will be available for trade.
