Harris County, Texas – A Texan man accused of killing his fiancée says “Can I kill an illegal person?” Investigators say the man shot his fiancé in the face to fake a suicide.
Police in Baytown, Texas have arrested 31-year-old Ty Vaughn after an investigation into the apparent suicide of 27-year-old fiancee Louis Banos Norbert of KtrkABC13 in Houston. It has been reported. Court documents revealed that the couple had been discussing before Vaughn went home and “find him dead.”
Investigators discovered that Banos had been shot with the eyes. They found a rifle supported on one of his arms to make death seem like he was committing suicide. A torn photo of the couple was also found nearby.
The suspicious murderer told police he came home to find his fiancé and asked for help.
He is also said to have texted Banos and asked why he wasn't texting back.
Vaughn reported suspicious after repeatedly unsolicited comments about Banos' immigration status.
Detectives reviewed surveillance video of Crosby Green's apartment and discovered a contradiction in Vaughn's story.
Ktrk reported that Baytown Police had stitched together the timeline.
At 4:05am, he was walking up the stairs to his apartment when Vaughn claimed he was not home. Two neighbors told police they heard the gunshot shortly afterwards.
At 4:27am, he texted Norbert (Banos). Police say he's already dead. Baby Why are you not texting? ! ? ! ”
At 5:38am, 93 minutes after the murder, Vaughn called 911.
“My spouse is dead. Help. My life is over,” Vaughn told the Dispatchers.
Further investigations on Vaughn's phone show that he searched on Google for “Can I kill illegal humans?”
Before police arrested Vaughn, Ktrk spoke to the currently tolerated murderer and asked if he had spoken with Banos on the day of his death. “I don't know,” he replied. “The police know all the details,” the reporter asked what police said to him. He replied, “I wasn't really planning on going to the police looking for an answer.”
