RFK, Jr. Vows ‘Radical Transparency’ on Food Supply — ‘We Are Poisoning Ourselves’

Monday, FNC's “Hanity,” Robert F. of the Department of Health and Human Services. Kennedy Jr. pledged to “radical transparency” to “make America healthy again.”

According to Kennedy, current use of seed oils had an impact on public health.

“[E]Xplained the difference between seed oil and tallow, why is this a big deal, why did they say we went to the RFK steak “n-shake?” host Sean Hannity asked.

“Well, processed foods and seed oils are one of the ingredients in processed foods,” Kennedy replied. “And that shows that all science is what's behind it. The main perpetrator. And it's an amazing explosion and a chronic disease epidemic. When my uncle was president, 3% of Americans had chronic disease. Today, 60% do. 66% of adults are diabetic or prediabetic, 38% of teens. When you and I were kids, Sean, the average pediatrician will see one case of juvenile diabetes in his lifetime, beyond a career of 40 or 50 years. Today, one in three people walking to his office store is diabetes or prediabetic diabetes.”

“Diabetes and other mitochondrial diseases are now costing America more than our military budget,” he continued. “We spend two or three times on healthcare what other countries are doing, and we have the worst outcomes. Not that – and we have the best health system in the world. We're addicted to ourselves and we know that we're primarily with these ultra-processed foods and what we're trying to do. This president wants to have fundamental transparency and encourage companies like these to switch to traditional ingredients like beef tallow.”
