Ukraine Hits Moscow With Biggest Drone Strike on Eve of Peace Talks

Ukraine struck Moscow in what was called the biggest drone strike in history early Tuesday morning. This is a clear message to both Russia and the United States at the dawn of the latest round of the Ukrainian War peace talks in Saudi Arabia.

Three people, including three children, were killed and 18 people, including three, were injured in a drone strike that crashed into an outside suburb of Moscow early Tuesday morning, according to emergency services. Local rail travel was destroyed, and six airports in and nearby areas were closed due to the destruction of airspace.

Both Russia and Ukraine have independently said that the attacks are on record scale. The Russian Ministry of Defense has fired down 337 Ukrainian drones, of which 91 have fired down Moscow, saying that it is the biggest drone attack on the city of war.

Ukraine said it was “the biggest drone attack in history” and launched as a message to Moscow. Andry Kovalenko, head of the Centre to Counter the Head of the National Security Council of Ukraine, was Quote by Guardian As he said, “This is an additional signal to Putin, and he should also be interested in a ceasefire in the air.”

This means that plans in Saudi Arabia today in the US could begin with Ukraine's halt, which could begin with a halt of hostility in the aviation territory and in the sea. It is said that Britain and France support this idea.

The attack could be a message to the US itself, given that, given Ukraine's own claim a few days ago, countries committed drone strikes on civilians cannot be so serious about peace. It was about Russia hitting Kiev, but now the role that preemptively explains that Ukraine is cautious in any of the several hits reported in Moscow apartment buildings is reversed.

In this regard, Ukrainian military general staff said their drone attacks “stripped many strategic objects in the Russian Federation involved in ensuring military invasions against Ukraine,” but civilian damages ended up shooting down Ukrainian military drones before they could reach their true targets. They stated: “Open source has known that many civilian infrastructure facilities have been damaged as a result of the air defense actions of Russian invaders.”

Russia said the Ukrainian strike was a deliberate ploy to President Donald Trump's bid in the peace process, and that it was intentionally attacking housing blocks as Ukraine is described as “Nazis.”

In Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, talks for the U.S. Ukraine begin Tuesday morning and aims to establish how much the US can attract Ukraine to subsequent productive peace talks with Russia. President Donald Trump previously said Ukraine was not serious about peace after Zelensky's miserable visit to the oval office in February, but Ukraine claimed it was ready to speak now.

The Ukrainian team in Saudi Arabia welcomed the talks on Tuesday as constructive and said it wanted them to lead to “just and lasting peace in Ukraine.”
