A Florida woman was surprised when officers delivered pizza due to an 8-foot crocodile hidden under a car in the driveway.
The Bradenton Police Department shared a video of their encounter on X, showing Officer Tolson answering the call.
I read the post “Pizza… the gator side?” “Officer Tolson answered a call about an 8-foot gator in the community over 55, intercepted a scary pizza delivery driver and confirmed that hungry customers had been fed (and hungry gators weren't).
In shared body camera footage, officers can hear arriving women telling them to deliver pizza and stop for a big crocodile.

When the officer replied, “I'm a little scared,” he suggested that the pizza delivery person go around the back of the house.
Tolson tried to reassure the woman that she could go to the back of the house as long as the crocodile stays under the car.
“You want to do that, officer,” the woman asked.

She then handed the pizza to Tolson along with her receipt as a neighbor called the woman in the house who ordered the pizza. On the phone, the neighbor told the woman not to leave the front door because of the crocodile.
Still, the woman opened the door to get outside. Soon, Tolson told her not to leave because there was a crocodile under her car.
“What a god!” she cried. “My heaven! There's a crocodile under my car!”

When she asked about pizza, Tolson told the woman to go back inside the house.
“Where is my pizza?” she asked.
Tolson told her he would meet her at the back door with pizza.

Then she said, “Holy s-t!”
When the officer reached the back door, he met a woman holding cash in her hand and asked how much she was owed.
Tolson told a woman he didn't know because he was not a child.

“Are you a police officer?” she asked in an incredible way. “Did they call you?”
After a short exchange, the two exchanged pizza for cash. This was said Tolson would give it to the delivery driver.

Before saying goodbye, the woman said she wanted to grab a photo of the photo. To be on the safe side, officers took photos of the giant reptile under the car on the phone before the crocodile was taken away.
