National Intelligence director Tulsi Gabbard said Friday that she is actively pursuing recent leaks from within the intelligence news community.
“Our country's intelligence reporting community must focus on national security missions. Politically motivated leaks will undermine and unacceptable our national security and American trust,” she posted on X.
She added: “Unfortunately, such leaks have become commonplace and are not investigated or accountable. That's over now. We are actively pursuing, actively pursuing, and accountable to recent leaks from within the intelligence news community.”
She then gave four examples of recent leaks.
1. Leaks sharing information classified as Huffington Post
2. Leakers within the IC share information about Israel/Iran. Washington Post
3. Information sharing leaking agent about the US – Russia's relationship with NBC
4. Share information about NCSC activities and actions with records
She concluded that “unauthorized disclosure of classified information is a violation of the law and is treated as such.”
Gabbard did not specify what the leak was for the outlet.
