Denver man who shot and killed ex-lover, abducted her 2-year-old grandson learns his fate

A Denver man who shot and killed his ex-love, strangled his son and acquiring his grandchild would learn about his fate and spend the next 60 years behind the bar, according to the release.

Bedouja, 44, sat on the couch in his living room with his two-year-old grandson when Flores Hernandez exploded into his home in Northeast Denver and fired a four-shot.

The murderer and the victim had an intimate relationship for more than a decade, the DA said.

After hearing the gunshot, the victim's adult son ran out of the basement of his house to confront the 45-year-old attacker, but Flores Hernandez made the conflict better and unconsciously choking his son revenge during the firearms struggle.

His son said Flores Hernandez fired weapons at him multiple times during the struggle. Daily Mail reported citing local media.

The fallen beast then grabs the two-year-old and escapes from the scene in the car.

Flores Hernandez chased the Colorado patrol and Adams County Sheriff's departments for 30 miles on high-speed pursuit before halting on the I-70, according to the release.

The DA was not injured during the abduction.

“The murder of Karol Beduya is another horrifying memory of domestic violence tragic victim violence on our community and our families,” Walsh wrote in the release.

I hope that today's guilty plea and sentence will provide some comfort to Karol's family and friends,” he added.

Flores Hernandez was sentenced to 48 years for second-degree murder and 12 years for assault. Denver Post.
