‘All Options’ Are on the Table When It Comes to Iran

National Security Advisor Michael Waltz said on Sunday “this week” on ABC, “all options are on the table.”

Host Martha Radazs said: Houthis continued to fire missiles. What is the difference between this? ”

Waltz said: “The difference is that these proved to be not a kind of pinprick, but ultimately a reckless attack. This was an overwhelming response that actually targeted multiple Houthi leaders and took them out. The difference here is one, chasing the two and taking Iran back to the leadership of Houthi. Iran repeatedly funded, resources, trained and helped the targets of the Houthis, which helped shut down not only US warships but two of the world's most strategic sea lanes.”

Radazs said, “Let's read from what President Trump said about the true society. He said, “To Iran, Hooty's support for terrorists must end soon. Don't threaten Americans or the shipping cars around the world. If so, please be careful, as America will hold you completely responsible.” Does that mean that direct military action against Iran is possible? ”

Waltz said: “All options are always on the table with the president, but Iran needs to hear him loudly and clearly.”

In Iran's nuclear program, Waltz added: “Iran cannot have nuclear weapons. All options are on the table and make sure they don't. And that's all aspects of Iran's program. It's missiles, weaponization, enrichment. They can hand over it and give up on it in a verifiable way. Or they can face another set of consequences.”
