Early Trump actions, Project 2025 'have a lot in common,' former chief says

The former leader of Project 2025 says that the initial actions from the Trump administration are in pretty closely align with the conservative Heritage Foundation's vision of the president's return to the White House.

Paul Duns led the project until he resigned from leadership in July amid rebellion against many proposals. I said In an interview released on Sunday, Politico announced that he has been extremely pleased with President Trump's agenda up until now.

“I'm saying that in the direction, they have a lot in common, but so are great hearts,” Dance said. “We wanted our people who put together Project 2025 to grab the day, and the next conservative president would grab the day, but Trump is seizing every hour.”

Project 2025 was a key point in the Democratic attacks on Trump throughout the 2024 presidential campaign, and many former Trump officials were involved in creating it, leading to liberals being tied to the project. Trump repeatedly denied his involvement in the project, saying he didn't know much about it.

The project consisted of conservative organisations and Trump's allies, and featured a 900-page overview of a wide range of policies for a potential second Trump administration.

Analysis from Time Magazine Found There are almost two-thirds of the first executive orders Trump issued in his first few days with proposals that are at least somewhat reflected from Project 2025, and the report has reports It's attracting attention Similarities to reduce the federal workforce, chasing diversity, equity and inclusion programs, and banning gender-affirming care for minors.

Dans told Politico that Trump told the truth when he said he wasn't involved in the project.

He said the agenda for Project 2025 goes beyond Trump and returns to the foundations of the progressive era that former Presidents Woodrow Wilson and Franklin Roosevelt grew up.

“All the federal government's artificiality has been constructed in a very anti-democratic way in the last 100 years,” he said.

Dans said Project 2025 was caught up in “large information of misinformation.” But when asked if the Trump administration lacked or diverged from his original vision for the project, Dan said, “It actually goes far beyond my wildest dreams.”
