The failed Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA) recently launched a well-known podcast, and the response from voters can only be explained as a backlash.
CA 120 Survey subject California's 1,000 voters specifically relate to Newsom's podcast featuring Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk. Overall, this number wasn't good for Newsom, the 2028 presidential hoping to do so.
Only 24% of those surveyed said the podcast helped them view him as more modest, while 17% said they were unlikely to view him as moderate. A majority of 59% said there was no difference.
Only 13% of those surveyed said the podcast had improved perceptions in the newspaper, while 26% said they had hurt perceptions. This is 13 points for that question. A 58% majority said nothing changed in their perception.
Prior to the podcast, Newsom had a 52% advantage over a 48% disadvantage rating with Golden State voters. After the podcast, the number soaked the net 10 points in favor of just 47%.
His “very favorable rating” went from 25% to 18%.
Among the liberals, the podcast dropped Newsom's favor rating to 46-30%. This is a 16-point collapse.
Only one in five people who listened to the Newsom podcast said they wanted to fit in the episodes of the future.
The vote doesn't take into account the response to Newsom, hosting former White House advisor Steve Bannon. Repulsion Among famous Democrats such as Oscar winner Jane Fonda.
Like the Democratic Party of Japan and the Legacy Media, Newsom painted himself in the corner. There, the only way to survive is through firety to the left-wing activists and the difficult left-wing 20% that constitute the foundation of financial support.
Democrats like Newsom and fake news outlets like CNN, NBC, The The Washington Post, and New York Times You can't survive without that 20% of your support. So they are forced to get a 20% aspect on general issues: border enforcement, members of foreign flight gangs, foreign extremists paralyzing universities, foreigners who exclude men from women's sports and private spaces, cheap energy, law, order, etc.
Newsom cannot be “moderate” without killing the chances of winning the 2028 Democratic presidential primary. Similarly, CNN and Washington Post It cannot be mitigated without dropping to zero customer base.
All the lies and insanity that support things like open borders and this transsexual nonsense, Newsom, Democrats and corporate media, perhaps alienates all ordinary people forever. So, only 20% can be done.
Democrats are trapped and cornered, and that's brilliant.
