“My job is to keep the train,” Florida Rep. Byron Donald (R-FL) said. Breitbart News DailyDiscuss his governor's run in the sunshine state.
Donald praised Governor Ron DeSantis (R), who could not run again due to time limits after two consecutive terms, explaining that the governor essentially set a “baseline for what governs the nation.”
Leadership at the time of the coronavirus pandemic, Donald went on to draw people's eyes to Florida.
“Anyway, leadership. It was Covid-19, but it was also a way for the governor to manage natural disasters and rejuvenate his community,” he said.
That madness made people “fatigued with California, sick of New York, sick of Illinois, and then you didn't have many Republicans among Republicans who wanted to challenge something like that. So you could give Governor Desantis credit,” Donalds said.
“So, now my job is to take that and based on that, let's add things around the Florida financial industry,” he continues, noting that Democrats have fallen completely in Florida.
“To be honest with you, Democrats have really stepped in. Have you ever seen them like a CNN poll when they revealed that Democrats' approval numbers are the lowest in history or the lowest in the last 100 years?” he asked.
“They seem to be 29% in Florida. Our people know what conservative governance is. We've been doing this in the state for 30 years. Governor DeSantis, he did a great job.
“My job is to keep the trains, maintain the same policy, build on it, and keep Florida at its best in the country,” the governor's hopedian added.
