Schumer Mocks People Who Want Less Taxes, Less Government Control

Senate minority leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) laughed at how he wanted so-called “greedy” Americans to hold more of their hard-earned money and reduce government control over their lives.

Between episode On ABC View On Tuesday, Schumer spoke about the recent government spending bill recently signed by President Donald Trump. As reported previously by Breitbart News, Schumer explained that “the Republican senators have spoken to Democrats in favor of keeping the government open.”

Schumer also praised Democrats in several state governor's offices, saying, “has a lot of very strong talent in the Senate, the House of Representatives.” Senate minority leaders also said Democrats “strapped Trump and united,” and claimed that Trump wanted to spend money from tariffs “to cut billionaires.”

When asked by former Trump administration official Alyssa Farrr Griffin, Schumer described herself as the party's “orchestra leader” if Democrats believed he was “confident” that he was the leader, and if he thought it was time for him to come aside.

“We have a lot of very strong talent in the Senate, the House and the governor. We have a great bench,” Schumer said. “When it comes to the Senate Caucus, where I'm the leader, I should be a leader, and let me say this. One thing I know is that I'm very good at is how I win a Senate seat, that is, I'm a strategist in terms of recruiting candidates.

Schumer continues to highlight how Democrats won two Senate seats in Georgia in 2020, explaining that as “the leader of the orchestra,” he shows off his Democrats and their talents.

“So we have a lot of talent in the Caucus. I'll tell you one thing. We're totally united in one thing. More than anything, we're showing Americans that we're chasing Trump and paying the middle class rich tax cuts,” Schumer continued. “Today, we're doing it with Medicaid. You know we're going to do it right away with tariffs – he wants to put these tariffs in, it raises $2,000 a year for your people, the average family, these tariffs. Why is he doing so stupid?”

“He wants to use that money to cut billionaires taxes. Republicans are a different kettle of fish than they used to, and that's why we're fighting them,” Schumer continued. “They are ruled by a small group of wealthy and greedy people, and you know what their attitude is?” I made my own money. Or, “I will tell you how you can tell your government what you should hate your clients, the land I own, or my employees.
