Netanyahu Explains Why Israel Returned to War Against Hamas

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu released a video on Tuesday evening explaining why Israel fought Hamas in Gaza after Palestinian terrorist organizations rejected a new ceasefire contract.

As reported by Breitbart News, Israel began airstrikes on Hamas leaders early Tuesday after consulting with the Trump administration.

In an English video statement, Netanyahu provided an explanation of the reasons for the war.

Hamas is responsible for this war.

It invaded our town, killed our people, raped our women, and invited our loved ones.

Hamas refused the offer after an offer to release the hostages.

In the past two weeks, Israel has not launched military operations in the hopes of Hamas changing courses. Well, that didn't happen.

Israel accepted the offer of President Trump's special mission, Steve Witkov, but Hamas refused to do so altogether.

This is why we allowed military action updates against Hamas yesterday.

Israel is not targeting Palestinian civilians. Target Hamas terrorists.

And when these terrorists embed themselves in civilian areas, when they use civilians as human shields, they are responsible for all unintended victims.

Palestinian civilians should avoid contact with Hamas terrorists, and I call on the people of Gaza to do harm. Move to a safer area. Because all civilian casualties are tragedy, and all civilian casualties are the fault of Hamas.

We would like to thank President Trump for his unwavering support for Israel. Our alliance with the United States is stronger than ever.

What would you do if a terrorist murders and invites people who criticize Israel?

You will do what we do.

In the face of pure evil, a free society has no choice but to fight.

So I would like to assure all my friends in the world. Israel fights, and Israel wins. We take people home and destroy Hamas.

Until we achieve all these important goals, we will not be tolerant and will not rest until we give our nation a future of peace, prosperity and hope.

Some Israelis are worried that the remaining hostages (59 total still alive, 24) could harm them still alive, including one American. The Israeli era reports that hostage families are Split About a new war.
