Failed vice presidential candidate Tim Waltz said he would “support” happiness a bit after seeing Tesla's stock price, but Elon Musk responded with a ruthless barb.
Many on the left are aiming to be a mask company to protest his support and participation in the Trump administration. Some Tesla vehicles and dealers are targeting vandalism, including arson.
“I don't know if I sympathize with his ignorance or if I'm tired of the joys he has in the pain of others.”
Walz mimicked Tesla's stock price, which lost more than 50% since its December peak during his speech in Wisconsin on Tuesday.
“They got that little stock app. I'll add Tesla to it and give it a little boost during the day,” Waltz told the audience. “Drop with $225! And if you own it, we're not blaming you. You can take the dental floss and pull away the Tesla's, you know.”
The audience had embraced his jab with a mask, but the tech billionaire responded with the X platform he owned.

Others hit Waltz's comments to tease the failed Democratic candidate.

Trump said he would attempt to designate an attack on Tesla as “domestic terrorism.” According to Las Vegas police, five Tesla vehicles were damaged in a recent incident of violence in an arson attack. The suspect also fired a gun at least three times at the vehicle.
