Rep. Nancy Pelosi recently took a shot with Senate minority leader Chuck Schumer on Tuesday after Schumer voted to confirm the GOP spending bill.

“I myself give nothing for nothing,” Pelosi (D-Calif.) aired his disagreement with Schumer (DN.Y.). “I think that's what happened the other day.”
Pelosi's comments suggest that she believes Schumer fell into the GOP Expenditure Bill without compensation in return.
“In my opinion, we could have made them agree to a third method,” Pelosi said he continues to insist that Senate Democrats may have fought hard to negotiate a bipartisan, continuing resolution bill.
“They may not have agreed to that, but at least the public would have seen them disagree with it — and they would have shut down the government,” she added.
“Donald Trump and Elon Musk have offered Congress the wrong choice between shutting down governments and blank checks that devastatingly attack the well-being of working families across America.”
The bill was signed by the Senate on Friday to avoid government shutdowns. Schumer claimed he supported the bill because of the “consequences” of the shutdown.
“The Republican bill is very bad, but the possibility of closure affects America much worse. Certainly, the Republican bill is a scary option,” he said. “It's not a clean CR. It's deeply partisan. It doesn't deal with that much of the needs of the country, but allowing Donald Trump to take more power out of government shutdowns is a much worse option.”
“Unless Congress acts, the federal government will close tomorrow at midnight. I've said many times that there are no winners in the government's closures, but certainly there are casualties.
Pelosi isn't the only House of Representatives to criticize Schumer as Schumer calls for him to take a more combative approach or resign as Senate leader.
At City Hall on Tuesday, Representative Delia Ramirez (D-Ill) nodded “Yes” on his head after being asked if Schumer would “retire or resign.”
President Glenn Evie (D-MD) also asked Schumer's leadership, saying, “I don't have personal beef with Schumer. I think he's a talented guy, but the biggest question for me is, is he going to do this again?”
“When this comes back in six months, will he take the same approach? If he's still on that track, I'll move on,” he added.
A Democrat who wanted to remain anonymous said axios “Before this, you wanted a generational change – you saw it in our home ranking member election. Schumer is just fueling it.”
The anonymous individual added that the House of Representatives “has little to say about Senate leaders.”
“Those who are speaking up will do it because of grassroots pressure. Many of them doubt they will protect Schumer.”
