If Menendez brothers admit ‘lies,’ Los Angeles DA may reconsider resentencing: report

Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman said he would reconsider res to Eric and Lyle Menendez, who were convicted of murdering their parents. Reports say in 1989, if they admitted a “lie.”

In a motion filed that day, the district attorney said the Menendez brothers “repeated repeatedly about the case, their parents and their interactions with their witnesses.”

Hochman told ABC he has a list of 20 lies that the Menendez brothers have spoken over the 30 years since their parents' murder, only four of them admitted.

“The essence of that checklist is that they have to finally admit it in 30 years. They killed their parents intentionally, intentionally and deliberately, not because they believed they would kill them that night,” Hochman said.

A hearing from the Res Court was scheduled for March 20th and 21st, but was later delayed until April 11th.
