FBI Investigates Arson Attack on Las Vegas Tesla Repair Facility

The FBI is currently investigating an arson attack on the Tesla Cruising Center in Las Vegas, resulting in a large number of Tesla EVs being completely engulfed in flames on Tuesday. Authorities say the incident was a “target attack” against Tesla using Molotov cocktails.

Las Vegas police said the attacker used Molotov cocktails and shot them roundly at the Tesla Cruising Center vehicle. Report By Las Vegas Review Journal.

Video footage of the 2:45am attack reportedly showed individuals who had damaged at least five Tesla vehicles.

Additionally, at least three gunshots were fired at the vehicle and the word “resistance” was scribbled down at the front door of the Tesla Cruising Center, police noted.

“This was a target attack on Tesla's facility,” Deputy Sheriff Dori Koren said. “I believe they are in quarantine at this point.”

Koren also said that the metropolitan police department has increased its presence in Tesla-related locations in the area as a precautionary measure.

The suspect used multiple burnt device devices to carry out an attack that burns Tesla vehicles, but the immobilized device has been found in the vehicle, police said.

Meanwhile, the FBI special agent responsible for Spencer Evans said the attack has “part of its characteristics” and a “potential political agenda.”

“This type of violence is unacceptable, regardless of where it occurs,” Evans said in a news briefing.

FBI agents also urged those thinking of carrying out similar attacks and “rethinking seriously” and warned that this was a “federal crime.”

“We'll find you and prosecute you to the fullest extent of the law,” Evans said.

In particular, the FBI's Joint Terrorism Task Force joined the Clark County Fire Department in an investigation into the issue.

As reported by Breitbart News, on Tuesday, U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi labeled the escalating attack on Tesla's property as “domestic terrorism,” promising “serious consequences” to perpetrators.

“The swarm of violent attacks on Tesla's property is nothing but domestic terrorism. The Justice Department has already kept that in mind for several perpetrators, including cases involving a five-year, mandatory minimum sentence charge,” Bondy said.

Elon Musk responded with the X-Post to Tesla's attack in Las Vegas on Tuesday, writing, “This level of violence is insane and deeply wrong.”

“Tesla was just making electric cars and did nothing worthy of these evil attacks,” Musk added.

Tuesday's attack will mark the latest attack on Musk's company. This has been targeted since SpaceX CEO engaged with President Donald Trump and the current administration's Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

On Thursday, the arsonists absorbed gasoline and Tesla EVs and set fire to the fire around Capitol Hill in Seattle. Police said the suspect poured gas into a Tesla Model S sedan and set it on fire before he escaped.

A few weeks ago, six cybertuks were spray-painted at a Tesla dealer in Lynwood, Washington. Report King 5.

In another incident on the same weekend, four Tesla Cybertocks were damaged or destroyed in a fire in a car park in Seattle on Sunday night, raising questions about whether it was an arson attack aimed at musk. The incident is still under investigation.

These incidents come after Tesla's Cybertruck was completely engulfed in flames in front of the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada in the New Year, and then saw authorities calling the incident a “active crime scene.”

“Other Tesla dealers across the country were targets of destruction and shooting.” Las Vegas Review Journal Two people were arrested in connection with a series of vandalism attacks at a Colorado Tesla dealer, citing gunshots fired at an Oregon Tesla dealer for the second time in a week on Thursday.
