Vice President JD Vance blows up former Vice President Kamala Harris when he asked how he treated his predecessor in a different way than his predecessor, joking that he didn't have a “four shot of vodka before every meeting.”
Radio host Vince Korianze asked Vance what he was doing differently than Harris.
“Well, I don't have a four-shot of vodka before every meeting,” Vance joked. “It's one way I think Kamala really tried to incorporate herself into the role.
“I think Kamala Harris needs a lot of alcohol help to answer questions in a way that answers questions,” he continues, adding that he doesn't talk much with Harris or former President Joe Biden, but he believes there is no trust between the two.
“My sense is, this is a bit of a guess. Obviously, I don't talk to Kamala Harris or Joe Biden often, but my sense is that there was no level of trust between Biden and Harris.
“Fortunately, I'm in a situation where the president trusts me. If he asks me to do something, he believes it will happen, and obviously we'll talk about it and check in,” Vance said.
“It's all about serving as a presidential vision, and I think Americans are trying to remind us every day that Donald J. Trump has been elected to do his job.
Vance also spoke about how unique the Vice President's position is in that he does not actually hold “formal power.” Therefore, he considers his role as “basically trying to help the president do whatever he needs to do.”
“And that made me more generalist. There's no particular issue that I made only my own issues. The President and I are working on everything and obviously taking direction from his leadership, but I try to implement it as best I can,” he explained.
“It was a lot more fun to work than I thought otherwise would,” he added.
Harris fired fire after being defeated by Trump after publishing her first video message after her concession speech.
“I need to remind you. No one has ever let you take your power out of you. By November 5th you have the same power as you, and you have the same purpose as you did,” Harris said.
“And you have the same abilities and inspirational abilities, so don't let anyone or any situation take your strength from you,” she continued.
