Sierra Nevada Adventure, Spain

Sierra TrailBased in Boubion, run by Dallas Love and her brother, Mordecai, the two-hour drive from Malaga offers extraordinary village-to-villa rides in Sierra Nevada. Dallas paired us with a school where we rode on different terrains, stopped by a picnic under the trees and stayed in a lovely family-run hotel. After a long day of ride, we soaked in a hot bath and then a great meal with wine (vegetarians are fine!) and it was a snack. The 5 night accommodation for 4 days of riding, including pick-up from Malaga Airport, was 1,465 euros.

Take your escorted ride to the hills of Exmore

Horner Wood in Exmoor National Park. Photo: Stephen Dorey Creative/Alamy

Burrowhayes Farm Campsite Somerset, near Porlock in the northwest, is a family campground on the edge of beautiful Hornerwood. We've had it many times and love to ride the place and horses. There is a range of horses and ponies to hire for escorted rides across the hills of Exmore. All of the riding abilities were fun and challenging, even the eldest son, who had years of riding experience. Starting from 35 pounds per hour for escorted rides. Camping pitches starting from £19 per night.

Explore the lesser known Sardinia on horseback

Riding an ancient truck in the Montefel Mountains (meeting capital Sardinian riders), canter across the empty sandy beaches of the Sinis Peninsula, or just do riding lessons Country Hotel Mandra Edera Near Abba Santa. Sardinia's west coast is still underdeveloped, making it a relaxing riding holiday. It's best to ride in the morning or evening and relax by the pool in the heat of the day. The countryside is dotted with Bronze Age ruins nuraghe The building is also worth visiting. But the highlight is beach riding.

An unforgettable ride among the best of Bordeaux

The empty beaches in southwestern France are perfect for an exciting ride. Photo: Frank Morina

Gallop along the endless beach (professional photographer) south of Bordeaux, pass through sand dunes and shaded pine forests, and get cold in a comfortable chalet that gets cold in the ocean or pool Atlantic Coast Trekking on Unicorn Trail (From 1,439 EUR 8 days) Made for my 16-year-old daughter on a lifetime holiday. It was all about horses and horse riding (every day), but there was plenty of time for a riverbank picnic and evening dinner. The friendship between a diverse (and dusty) group of riders and expert guides was essential for an exciting and unforgettable week.

Walking around the new forest

Hampshire's New Forest offers riders an unusual privilege thanks to ancient rules. Photo: Andy Newman/Aramie

Horse and pony have the privilege of a new forest Because of ancient laws that defend the right of animals and common people to roam freely. Last summer's riding holiday was a great way to explore the roads, forests and free lands in this lovely area. I was friendly and kind Burley Villa Riding Schoolrent pony and horses with a guide of 99 hours. Horse often have rights, so being in the saddle was a peaceful way to see the countryside. There are plenty of watering holes for humans and beasts, such as Burley's Whiteback. One tip: get New Forest Card For just £10, you can access discounts at shops, pubs and cafes. For riders and romers.

Trekking in Central Spain

I ride in the Sierra de Gredos in central Spain. Photo: Jerebektrail

I was riding the mountains of West Sierra de Gredos Herebectorailrun by couples, Emilio and Mamen. This included five-day trekking of various topography, mountains, villages, farms and rivers in the central Spain countryside. What made it unique was Emilio's expertise. He is the next level in local knowledge and training his horses… They don't even use bits. He made me perfectly match with one of his horses and it got even better. Be specific about the horses you want to ride and the experiences you want.

Winning Tips: Peak District Gallop

Northfield Farm rides appear on High Peak Trail and Chatsworth

Northfield FarmA two-day ride (£400pp Inc lunch and transfer) offers an amazing variety at Derby Shirdale. The first day's route is across the viaduct above Monsaldale and continues through the former railway tunnel. The echoes of the spine of the hooves echo. After a welcome lunch at Edensor, it's time Haddon Hall Then Gallop runs through Chatswor Spark. Think about the atmosphere of a drama in an era without dresses. Day 2 is amazing High Peak Trail Staffordshire Moorland. On weekends there are horses that can't flapping wings, guides, and a wide variety of terrain.
