Trump on Tim Walz Talking Tough About Kicking the ‘Ass’ of Conservatives: ‘He’d Be in Trouble’

Minnesota Gov. Tim Waltz, D., is a troubled “loser,” said President Donald Trump on Friday responding to a reporter's question by saying he can kick the “butt” of conservatives.

“Yeah, he's going to be in trouble,” Trump replied, adding, “Well, he's a loser.”

“He lost the election. He played the role. They say you know, the Vice President usually doesn't play the role,” Trump continued.

“I think Tim played the role. I think he was so bad that he hurt her,” he said.

“But she hurt herself, Joe [Biden] They hurt both,” he continued. “They didn't have a great group, but they'll probably put him at the bottom of the group.”

Waltz made his remarks this week on a podcast by California Gov. Gavin Newsom.

“I thought this part of identity was more important than the actual material behind it,” Waltz said in the conversation, as conservatives claimed to be demonizing the left.

“Well, they've been doing it for decades. I mean, they saw the Welfare Queen. They saw the Southern Strategy. We've seen it many times. It's an old playbook and we want to allow it to do this with CRT and ESG, Dei and every three letter word… to get off defense and make an attack.

“We have to attack. We have been able to meet people where they are. But I'm thinking this too. And this is part of the conversation I have.

After that, he asked how Walz would fight it and proceeded to answer his own questions immediately.

“I think I can kick most of their ass, I think so,” Walz said, adding that she can at least “outrun.”

“I don't know if we'll fall where we want to be. Well, we'll challenge you.

Waltz has kept the door open for his prospects for running for president in 2028. New Yorker Radio Hour“If I think I can offer something… I'd certainly think about it,” he added, “anything that does.”

A recent morning poll between Democrats and Democrats showed just 5% in favor of potential waltz in key areas of the Democratic Party in 2028.
