Channing Tatum is cutting fat from his Hollywood role.
The 44-year-old actor, known for his roles in “Magic Mike” and “21 Jump Street,” said he would refuse to work in future films that would cause dramatic blows to his body.
“I wouldn't be able to play any more fat roles,” Tatum told Instagram Friday. “that's right[o] The body and[o] It's difficult to take off now. But when I see these photos, damn, that's what the human body can do. ”
Tatum shared three images of himself at different weights. Two of them were dramatic weight cuts and profits for filming.
The first image showed Tatum, who snapped a selfie from his body window on Friday, weighed 205 pounds.
In the photo, he wore black underwear, partially covered in white towels, with his muscular, tanned body glittering in the sunlight.
He then shared a black and white bathroom mirror selfie when he had to weigh in at 235 pounds for his role as “Damien” in the upcoming thriller drama “Josephine.”
The “White House Down” star revealed that he was forced to cut to £175 for the true crime film “Roofman,” which he shot in late 2024.
“I'm very grateful for my genetics,” Tatum added. “Thank you to my chef/nutritionist/witch. Thank you to my trainer. Without you guys, I couldn't make these big swings with my weight.”
The Hollywood chunks created their own name by taking on a series of physically demanding roles for his career.
The star was cast as a stripper in “Magic Mike,” a soccer player dancer in the comedy “Her,” starring Amanda Bynes in the 2006 comedy “Her.”
However, his body and mind were tested when he starred in the lead role as Tyler Gage in the 2006 dance film Step Up.
The physical film has turned into an off-camera romance with his co-star Jenna DeWang.
Tatum and Dewan got married in 2009, welcomed their daughter in 2013, and officially divorced in 2024 after a long six years of battle.
