Anti-Semitism rose all over the world as Israel focused in the ongoing war with Hamas. The Prevention and Prevention League (ADL) said it recorded more than 10,000 anti-Semitism incidents in the United States from October 7, 2023 to October 6, 2024. The ADL said it was the most incident recorded in a year since it began tracking such data in 1979.
Protests erupted on the streets of university campuses and major cities after the most deadly day for Jews since the Holocaust. In fact, October 8, 2023 – one day after the massacre and before Israeli retaliation, crowds gathered at Times Square to celebrate the attackers and condemn the victims.

Pro-Israel influencers say elite university students showed anti-Semitism “within seconds” of the undercover investigation
“The exact same deadly anti-Semitism that promoted atrocities and war crimes is anti-Semitism that promotes response to crimes against humanity committed on October 7th, atrocities and war crimes, which promotes response to crimes against humanity committed in October.
Cotler-Wunsh warns that there is an “global tsunami” of anti-Semitism, and anti-Zionism is a “new strain” of “constantly deadly virus.”
“If you track these moments when you see this immeasurable rebound, you can do it — [the] Cotler-Wunsh executed Fox News Digital for point blanks for six hostages (Hirsh Goldberg Polin, of America and Israel, of course).

ADL claims that Wikipedia editors are engaged in a “coordinated campaign” against Israel
“And instead of seeing rage on the streets, including New York City, in response to that point blank execution, what we saw was supportive of Hamas, the executioner, if you did.
According to Cotler-Wunsh, anti-Semitism had been on the rise before October 7th, but the attack “teared many masks.” But she emphasizes that this is not just a problem for Jews. This is a warning shot from humanity.
“What we have seen historically over time in this normalization systematically is that anti-Semitism simply predicts what the main threat to freedom, humanity, and the dignity of difference are in relation to the normalized, mainstream, deadly hate state.”
Speaking about the protests seen at universities across the United States, Kotler Wangsh pointed to examples of professors who praised or downplayed the October 7 attack, including Professor Cornell Rickford, who described the massacre as “exhilarating.” She believes that schools need to consistently apply policies and crack down on systematic violations of those policies, including anti-Israel demonstrations seen on many campuses.
“A rule that does not apply equally consistently is not worth the paper it is written on,” Kotler Wangsch told Fox News Digital.

However, Cotler-Wunsh says enforcing rules is just the first step. She believes that not only universities but institutions around the world need to adopt the definition of the anti-Semitic International Holocaust Memory Alliance (IHRA).
The definition of IHRA states: “Anti-Semitism is a specific perception of Jews and can be expressed as hatred towards Jews. The rhetorical and physical symptoms of anti-Semitism are directed towards Jewish or non-Jewish individuals and/or property, and towards Jewish community systems and religious capabilities.”
Criticizing Israel is not necessarily an anti-Semitic act, but even under the IHRA definition, “claiming that the existence of the Israeli state is a racist effort” is considered anti-Semitic by IHRA standards.
Countries and institutions around the world, including the United States and the United Nations, have adopted the definition of anti-Semitic IHRA. The Combat Anti-Semitism Movement states that as of February 1, 2025, 1,266 entities have adopted a definition that includes national and local governments and international organizations.
