Pope Francis makes first public appearance since hospital stay

Pope Francis has been made public for the first time since Recent hospitalization.

Five weeks after dealing with dual pneumonia, the Pope was released from a Roman hospital and returned to the Vatican, CNN reported.

According to CNN, the Catholic leader escaped from the hospital after it was revealed to the balcony where he delivered a thumbs up.

“Thank you guys!” said Francis during his appearance. According to Vatican News.

Last month, the bishop was hospitalized and the Vatican said he developed pneumonia in both lungs.

“The clinical examinations, chest x-rays and clinical conditions of the Holy Father continue to present complex pictures,” the Vatican said in a statement.

A few weeks later, the Vatican said Francis was suffering from two episodes of “acute respiratory failure,” and the clergyman also said he had undergone two bronchoscopy.

“Today, the Holy Father suffered two episodes of acute respiratory failure caused by a significant accumulation of intrabronchial mucus and the resulting bronchospasm,” a previous statement from the Vatican read.
