Amy Schumer praises Mounjaro after suffering severe Ozempic side effects

Amy Schumer's Munjaro experience was very different from when she tried alternative weight loss pills a few years ago.

Schumer, 43, praised the influence of Mounjaro (also known as Tilzepatido) in a video clip shared on Instagram with nearly 13 million followers.

In previous attempts to lose weight, comedians experienced debilitating side effects while using Ozempic for weight loss purposes.

“I shared it with you years ago and wanted to keep it 100. Yes, this isn't completely safe to drive and make videos. Three years ago, three years ago, I tried Wegovy.

“I couldn't handle it. I don't know if they changed the formula but… Anyway, I went to this telehealth meeting with Midihealth. It was cheap. I wanted to give it a try.

In addition to injectable drugs, primarily used to treat type 2 diabetes, the “TrainWreck” star has a new routine that includes hormones.

“They put me in estrogen and progesterone because I realized I was around menopause and my perimenopausal symptoms disappeared,” Schumer said.

“My hair is full, my skin is better, I have more energy. If you know what I mean, I want to go down more. I'm talking about sex.”

Schumer admitted that she also invested in MidIhealth because she had such a good experience with telehealth companies.

She subscribed the video to ask about the Royals, saying, “I'm not going to stir the pot, why should I call Kate Middleton Kate of Wales?

Earlier this year, the “pregnant” actress told Howard Stern that she was forced to quit Ozempic due to bad side effects.

“I have this gene – GDF15, so you're the reason I got so sick while pregnant. So I tried Ozempic almost three years ago. I was bedridden. I'm vomiting and others take it.

“I lost 30 pounds so quickly,” she said. “I looked great and couldn't lift my head off the pillow, so what's the point?”

Ozempic, a semaglutide injection, was originally approved by the US Food and Drug Administration for the treatment of type 2 diabetes, but along with several other similar drugs, it is prescribed from a label for weight loss.
