Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Christie Noem is scheduled to visit Central America this week and is stopping by El Salvador's Terrorist Confinement Centre.

In addition to Noem's stop in El Salvador, she is also expected to travel to Colombia to meet with President Gustavopetro, the first leftist president.
Tricia McLaughlin, assistant secretary for public relations at DHS, said:
Noem's trip continues after 261 illegal aliens were deported from the US to El Salvador on March 15thth238 people belong to the violent Tren de Aragua gang. The country's president posted an X in connection with deportation.
“President Trump and Secretary Noem have a clear message to criminal foreigners considering illegally entering the United States, so don't think about that either,” McLaughlin continued. “If you come to our country and break the law, we will corner you and lock you up.”
Noem's trip to Central America is also coincided with President Trump's designation of foreigners as a foreign terrorist organisation, and President Trump's continued efforts to combat illegal immigration while promoting massive deportation.
In recent video footage, Tren de Aragua and members of the MS-13 gang were taken to the terrorism confinement centre.
Trump's ally, El Salvador President Naive Buquer, agreed to pay for gang members, adding that deportation will help Salvadoran authorities “track the last rest of the MS-13, which includes former and new members, money, weapons, drugs, similarities, sponsors and sponsors.”
