Sen. Justin Aichon, a Republican Minnesota wife, filed for divorce a few days after being arrested for sexual stabbing of a minor.
Brittany Achon, who shares four children with 40-year-old Acorn, filed a petition for the dissolution of her marriage on Monday following a devastating allegation. Northern News is currently being reported.
Acorn detained him after Bloomington police arrested him and was told he had arranged for him to have sex with someone he thought was a 17-year-old girl.
Aichon resigned from the Senate on Thursday. His planned conditional release was rescinded Monday after prosecutors slapped the dishonest senator on further allegations.
He is accused of arranging with a Grand Rapids woman to retrieve computers and other items from her St. Paul apartment, where she lived alone during legislative sessions prior to the FBI attack.
Court documents say during the search of the apartment on March 21, prosecutors say FBI agents found handguns and ammunition in a red bag.
