Singer Nancy Wilson of the '70s rock band Hart is stealing the fever after claiming that Americans were “embarrassing” in an interview.
The 71-year-old former rock star commented on her Interview in Milwaukee Sentinel This month and now, I am struck by the repulsion of her perceived hatred towards her country.
Wilson equated today's political situation with the political situation of the 1970s, saying, “Because of the dirty politics of the Vietnam War, we were embarrassed to call ourselves Americans.”
The Barracuda singer went on to say, “I'm even more embarrassed now to be as subtle as possible.”
Her declaration didn't sit well with many being fans.

Wilson also wrote in a paper that believes women have temporarily lost momentum in American culture today, saying, “For women in culture, I think the pendulum will come back again.

Wilson and her sister Anne returned to the road after cancelling the tour when Anne received chemotherapy after being diagnosed with cancer. Anne tells fans that she is much better, and the pair are performing in Manitoba, Canada this week.
