Florida Senate Weighs Bill to Allow Defensive Carry on College Campuses

The Florida Senate Criminal Justice Committee on Tuesday weighs in on legislation that will allow college students to carry firearms on campus for self-defense.

This Act, SB 814, is sponsored by Senator Randefine (R-FL).

There is no field of magical powers that prevent criminals from carrying guns to campus.

Campus Safety Magazine It's attracting attention As of April 26, 2024, 11 states have allowed campuses to carry in self-defense. These 11 states were Arkansas, Colorado, Georgia, Idaho, Kansas, Mississippi, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Utah and Wisconsin.
