Joe Gut canceled his upcoming tour dates and entered the treatment facility after being accused of sexual misconduct.
“After a little time, L'VE decided to voluntarily participate in the hospitalization program to continue working on himself,” the “Practical Joker” star told Page 6 in a statement Wednesday.
“I just want to thank all the support I have from my friends, my fans, especially my family. It's not going to be more than the last few days.”
The decision comes less than a week after Tiktok users married comedians claimed they had sexually assaulted her when she was 19.

The two fathers denied the charges of assault, but he admitted to making a “poor” decision by speaking to the time period.
“I used poor judgment and as a result I violated the trust of the people I love most,” the comedian told Page 6 exclusively on Saturday. “But anyone who knows me knows well enough that I won't assault anyone.”
“Working on myself is an ongoing process and I am now planning on taking some time away from the public eye to concentrate my energy where I need it,” Gatt continued.
Just a day later, a second woman came forward with accusations of alleged inappropriate behaviour.
An unidentified accuser who worked for Gut while in his time at “The Practical Joker” claimed that she met the comedian on a live show when she was 15 years old.
She claimed that after she turned 18, his actions against her became frivolous.
It is unclear exactly what she did for the comedian, but she I told people Gut hired her shortly after graduating from college.
Before he started work, one former television personality employee allegedly warned her about his actions, including inappropriate jokes, unnecessary flirting and humpy interactions.
The warning was true, and the younger employee quickly found himself in an unpleasant work environment, she told the outlet.
She claimed that Gut sometimes grabbed her inappropriately, asked for a back massage, asked about her sex life and asked her to hold her.
He is also allegedly jealous when she posted a photo with her boyfriend.
She told people that when he shot down Gut's advances, he would be “excuse her” the next day.
