Basketball Hall of Fame Charles Barkley was overwhelmed by the feud between ESPN critic Stephen A. Smith and Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James during a radio appearance on Friday.
Smith and James traded barbs for separate media throughout the week. It was about the comments that Hot Take enthusiast made about his son Bronnie after James stood up against Smith during a Lakers game. Smith insisted that nothing was said personally. Smith lifted Antee by referring to personal issues that may have said about LeBron James but were not.

Barkley is “Dan Patrick's Show.” He said that both Smith and James had a rather bad week.
“They both had a terrible week,” he said. “LeBron, he's too big to be bullied. He bullies Stephen A. and Brian Windhorst.
“But I say this: Stephen A., the way he reacts is so lame and weak. (Gilbert Arenas') Podcast, Talking Tough, Come on, Man, you're better than that.

“There are only losers in this scenario. They get the biggest stars in the game and probably the biggest stars in TV, and they both look bad. I don't know what he's going to do.
It is unknown whether the relationship will be repaired. Smith says James is just pissed at him because of his opinion that the Lakers star will never surpass Michael Jordan as the greatest basketball player of all time.
Smith had to retract one statement he said about James attending the Kobe Bryant memorial. Smith said James wasn't there when he attended the February 2020 event. James was out of the spotlight.
