Former Transport Secretary Pete Battigegg said Democrats should not look for a version of podcaster Joe Logan, but instead find other meaningful ways to connect with voters.

“My party is arms around who our Joe Rogan is. We're not going to have a Joe Rogan on the left. That's not how it works,” he said.
Logan developed the platform as a conversationist and influencer through frequent freeform interviews promoted across social platforms.
The former UFC commentator has 19.4 million subscribers on YouTube, 19.8 million followers on Instagram, and over 15 million subscribers on X.
Many believe in Logan after interviews with podcasters reached over 30 million in three days.
Harris' former vice president refused to sit down for an unedited interview with Logan, and instead joined the “Cole Her Daddy” podcast, connecting with younger voters and discussing their abortion rights.
Buttigieg said that is the type of energy Democrats need. He suggested that the party increase its presence in the new media space to promote the platform's messaging and policy points.
“The other big thing that makes my party so badly late is where we say it, and this means what kind of media space we are,” he said.
Biden administration officials have urged party members to reach people who are “not always looking for politics.”
“When you think about the generational project of changing the country for the better and changing the country for the better over the last 100 days, it will require a deeper level of vision and greater preparation to rise up ruthlessly from what is not working and ruthlessly to get people to rise up ruthlessly to work,” Buttigieg said.
