Host Bill Maher said, “I think there's a general consensus. This is a strange attempt to bring back the era of this country that has disappeared with the wind, but I don't know.
Login said, “Yeah. I think Trump has this incredible ability to diagnose problems correctly and then bangle solutions with completely inconsistent and incompetent policies. I think that's what we're seeing. It's clear that there's no strategy. The rest of the world, don't worry, we're not going to burn the house, we're just going to set the kitchen on fire, and it's reckless, people know it, and the real people, oh, we're going to have a huge tariff.
Later in the show, Login said that while trade wars could turn into a hot war, China is having problems, pushing China back while hostile to a bunch of other countries isn't going well.
